Desa Cantik and Sensus Ekonomi 2026 Socialization

Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Natuna organized the 2026 Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Socialization activity at the Bunguran Timur Subdistrict Office on April 21, 2026. In 2026, the three villages selected as the focus of the Desa Cantik development program are Desa Sepempang, Sungai Ulu, and Batu Gajah, all of which are located in Bunguran Timur Subdistrict.

The Desa Cantik program is one of the activities conducted annually by BPS as part of sectoral statistics development at the village level. The Desa Cantik program is expected to improve literacy, management, and utilization of sectoral data at the village/subdistrict level. Its objective is to enable village officials to independently manage data in order to support more targeted, data-driven, and measurable development planning. In addition, this program also aims to strengthen synergy and collaboration between BPS and village officials in creating an integrated and high-quality data ecosystem.

During the socialization activity, discussions were also delivered regarding the implementation of Sensus Ekonomi 2026 as one of the national strategic agendas aimed at providing comprehensive data on the condition and development of economic activities in Indonesia. This discussion is expected to enhance village officials’ understanding of the importance of supporting economic data collection, utilizing statistical data in regional development planning, and strengthening cross-sector coordination in supporting the implementation of Sensus Ekonomi 2026.

As a follow-up to the Desa Cantik Socialization activity, Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Natuna conducted the Desa Cantik development program from May 4–7, 2026, at the Bunguran Timur Subdistrict Office. This development activity was attended by statistical agents, community members, and website operators from the three assisted villages.
